A Guide to Your eBay Summary Pages.

Everyone who registers at eBay has their own My eBay summary pages created. These are a powerful tool and there are a number of functions within the eBay summary pages that are worth using.

The options that you can have displayed on your eBay summary pages are:

* Recent Feedback Received
* Scheduled
* Unsold
* Favorite Searches
* Favorite Sellers
* Favorite Categories
* Buying Reminders
* Selling Reminders
* My Messages
* Watching
* Buying Totals
* Bidding
* Best Offers
* Won
* Didn’t Win
* Selling Totals
* Selling
* Sold
* General eBay Announcements

If you select the Recent Feedback Received to be displayed on your eBay summary page you can see, at a glance, how buyers and sellers have rated their transaction with you. This is a great category to have on your eBay summary page as you can see if there are any dissatisfied customers and reply to their comments.

The scheduled option for the eBay summary will display any items that you have listed for selling but the start date has not yet occurred.

Unsold items that are displayed on your eBay summary are items that you placed up for auction for which there were either no bidders or your reserve was not met.

You can set up favourite searches on your eBay summary page so that you can keep looking for the same item at regular intervals without having to enter all of the search criteria in again.

If you have bought an item from a particular seller and want to know when they have different items for sale you can set them up to be one of your favourite sellers and have them listed on your eBay summary page.

Your favourite categories of items for sale can be set up to be displayed on your eBay summary page.

Any buying reminders on your eBay summary page show you the progress of any bids that are still live.

Selling reminders can be shown on your eBay summary page to keep you on top of the items that you are currently selling.

My messages include any messages sent to you or by you from other buyers and sellers and can be displayed on your ebay summary page.

If you have set up to watch the progress of a particular item but have not yet bid on it then the eBay summary page will let you know how it is progressing.

The buying totals that can be displayed on your eBay summary let you know how much you are currently committed to spend.

Another useful piece of information for your eBay summary page is the bidding section which alerts you to the status of your current bids on items so you can see if you have been outbid. However the system can be set to send you an automatic email if you have been outbid but this part of the eBay summary is useful for seeing all of your bids at a glance.

The rest of the categories are pretty self-explanatory but the general eBayu announcements allows announcements from eBay to be displayed on the front page of the eBay summary pages. This allows the user to keep up to date on offers and read general information regarding eBay.
