Any messages in your eBay inbox have come from eBay systems and are certain to be genuine. If there are any messages about your account then they will be sent to your eBay inbox.

Some of the different types of messages that you may have in your eBay inbox from eBay are:

• Important alerts about your account
• Member-to-Member communications
• Customer Support correspondence and replies
• Information about buying and selling
• News about forthcoming activities, events, and product updates
• Copies of your seller invoices for listing and final value fees
• Policy changes and other special notices
